Hey, for those of you who don’t know, I do have an art blog: luiciones-art.tumblr.com. I used to post sporadically, but since I’m now in college, I have more time.
a lot of times i wish that people would comment or add tags to my op on my art blog. you know, constructive criticism or compliments would be nice to receive some time. then i can improve. or make things that other people might like to see more of….

i dunno, how does it feel to be judgmental towards people who enjoy things as a concept but you take things way to fucking literally so nobody can enjoy anything. You would be the hollow space in soft serve ice-cream that everybody hates between the goodness of ice-cream and the cup because the people who are serving the ice-cream are trying to cut back on money spent on shitty soft-serve.
shipping is fun to do just as toying with the idea of philosophy and time-perception are. they are totally not gonna happen ever in reality, but it’s still fun to do. if you don’t like it and the thing is harmless (shipping does not equate to pedophilia, abuse, or incest), then ignore it. don’t thrash on people for doing something they like. I like listening to dubstep and glitch while others are like “ew” but they let me do my thing. i like knitting at inappropriate times and inappropriate places, but nobody fucking cares because it’s not their life i’m affecting immensely. so, unless you are physically and mentally unable to stop yourself from being an asshole to people on the internet, please refrain from throwing shade on ships. ;)

and you should look at the blog yourfictionisourreality. its a safe space for survivors to discuss how fiction impacted their abuse and hurt them. i really hope that shows you that ships like these can normalize these things and affect peoples lives.

Unfortunately, there will always be those people who will take the fantasy into reality (fucking, disgusting abusers) and convince themselves its alright despite them knowing that they got it out of a completely unrealistic/fake/fantasized story. Not trying to give people the excuse “oh, if other’s can do it, why not me”, i’m just trying to see the inherent good in the majority of the population while all the filth is concentrated on a small minority.
Fuck wow, no. Normal people do not think that pedophilia is okay, nor abuse nor incest (incest feels morally wrong to me, but i know that it is legal in some developing countries). those who do think it’s okay to carry out the act or threaten people with the act or do any insinuation that they will do the act are gross. And for those people who were pressured to do what they were not willing to do. Survivors, i am so sorry for what life has dealt you. Absolutely horrible. Still recoiling from some of the stories i just read.
But i still must say that shippers have the right to ship who they want with whomever else since each is entitled to their own opinion on matters. Despite this, shippers should tag their ships if it’s in a post especially nsfw posts. That way then, survivors can avoid re-incountering their worst nightmares.

ah, i would like to add: please don’t send bloggers hate mail or request your followers to send hate mail about stuff you don’t agree on (unless you know for 100% that they are an abuser or something). You could always block the blog, the tag, and send a nice, disapproving letter stating how you do not agree with their stance on a ship and therefor unfollow/block them. Sending hate-mail is really abrasive and only causes confusion and anger.

and what is your borderline for calling a person an adult? Technically in the USA, 18 is the official age of adult-hood, but then teens are allowed to have sex, be married, and give birth at 16. Then, there are federal charges which have charged 12 year olds with adult felonies, meaning that the government believes that the individual was fully aware of what he or she was doing while performing the act of crime.

sorta like the difference between zoophilia and bestiality. bestiality is considered an act of abuse towards animals but zoophilia is understood on a spectrum. raising and loving a dog as a member of the family is considered zoophilia. even fantasizing about commiting sexual acts to an animal (ugh.) is different than actually doing it. There are many people who are zoophilic but who condone the actual act, bestiality. So, it is different when one thinks of stuff than actually doing the stuff.

well, yeah i admit that it romanticizes it because that’s what ships do. romanticizes a non-existent couple. a couple that probably isn’t canon. but, i wouldn’t be so quick to say that it normalizes incest or abuse. most of the people that do ship billdip, wincest, stancest, etc. know that it is inherently wrong to abuse others and that incest is a horrible in-breeding thing illegal in the united states and many other countries. nobody i know nor any forum i know that ships incest actually wants incest to happen in reality on a normal basis.
